Brilliante Weblog Award

I logged on today and found a wonderful surprise waiting for me. One of my blogging friends has given me an award for my blog. It's the Brilliante Weblog Award. I am honored. My friend writes an inspirational wonderful blog at Red Pine Mountain . Please check her out. I thank her very much for passing this award along to me.

The tradition of the award is to pass it along to other blogs that you enjoy. So here are seven blogs that I love reading and I draw something special from every one of them. They are varied and just show that everyone has something great to offer. Here are my nominees:

Finally Woken
Just Me
Kuting's Place
Fiercely Strategic Marketing
Slighty Mordant
Cutie Booty Cakes
Gifts of the Journey

And thanks again to everyone who comes to read my blog. All the best!

Mekhismom,
You are so welcome and you certainly deserve the award. You are so creative.

Marlyms,
You definitely deserve the award. I just enjoy reading your blog so much. And you are my friend too. I will definitely share how the Madonna show goes. You know what though? They haven't sent the tickets yet. Eek!!! LOL. But they say that they are running behind printing the tickets. But hopefully all will be well. It will be her first tour stop and it will be my first time going to Wales, so I am excited. And Madonna is turning 50...she is still doing her thing! Rock on lady Madonna! I will let you know how it goes. :-)

Channah,
I'm so glad that my links to those great blogs have helped you find some new ones.

Thanks to you all for visiting my blog.

I haven't been to England yet. I hear it is great. My Grandma LOVES England!

Hello Munchkins and Music,
Yeah, England is an interesting place. Some things remind me of home, and then there are some things that are solely of this culture. So it makes this expat thing a fun experience. :-) I hope that you get to visit England soon.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. I'm really enjoying yours too.
I am SO jealous that you moved to England! I'm a total Anglophile! Where did you live in the States? Do you miss it at all?
One funny thing: I read your blog about not being able to buy Maybelline... :( One of my absolute favorite things about the UK is... Boots! No, really. I LOVE that place! (Though I am surprised they don't sell Maybelline there!) When I visit, I always stock up on their Natural Collection line of yummy shower and hair products. My English friends think I'm nuts but I'm an addict. Guess it's all a trade-off, huh?
Anyway it's nice to meet you and I'll be stopping by to read your Brit stories. Love it!
:) Robin

So glad your enjoying your stay in England. It is a beautiful country - espcially after all the rain we've been having, everything is so green and fresh at the moment(and growing like crazy - especially the grass!). I am enjoying reading your blog and will be dropping in again :-)

Dori...an award, that is so kind of you. I am most appreciative! I'm glad we've had a chance to meet online and look forward to meeting in person sometime soon. Two girls from Atlanta!

Thank you for thinking of me.

Hi Robin,
Yeah, I've been here nearly two and a half years. I am originally from Georgia. I do miss Georgia sometimes...mostly foods...LOL. But now I am kind of at home between both places. About the makeup, I can get Maybelline here, but I can't get Covergirl. I love Boots too. I have their loyalty card and it is great. I can get good deals that way. Love it! (smile) I can understand your love for the Natural Collection. They have some great lines there. And hey, I'm an addict for beauty products too. LOL. I'm so glad that you enjoy my blog and I will be visiting you some more too. All the best.

Charmaine,
I am enjoying life here in England. I can totally echo you on the grass growing like crazy. Ours gets cut and then it grows a foot. lol. But it does make all of the green come to life and it is lovely to see. Thanks for stopping by and I will be dropping by your blog too.
