Baking Day

Yesterday I did some baking again, but Brit Boy wasn't in on it this time. So it was a solo bake. :-) I made some oatmeal blueberry muffins. They turned out really good. During the last year or so I have been steadily trying to get more healthy food into my diet...into both of our diets really. So this muffin is a great new favorite of Brit Boy and I. The blueberries are tasty and are a natural anti-oxidant, so it's a win win. Here's a photo of it before and after I dug into one of them. :-)

Yum. I ought to make some; I'm in the mood for something like that to snack on.

What's with the new look around here? It's ... different.

Hi Susan,
Yep, they are tasty. Not too sweet.

As for the new look...I just tweaked things to freshen up after hitting my six months mark. :-)

Good timing, I have a bunch of Blueberries in the fridge. I'm also going to try another Bluberry recipe I saw from another blog. It's going to be hard not to gain weight with all these good food. :)

Hi Dori! Thanks so much for stopping by my art blog.

Your muffin looks tasty! Baking and I are not friends...I can't get my creative hemisphere to conform to the scientific part of it; teaspoon, tablespoon, tomato, to-mah-to. Only they aren't the same, y'know...

In other news I'm a great at veggin' out traditional meat filled meals! I hope to see you around.

Alison,
Hope you enjoy trying the recipe. :)

Babette,
I hope you enjoy trying the recipe too. It is great comfort food. :)

Marlyms,
I hope you and your hubby enjoy them. :)

T.Allen-Mercado,
I really loved your blog and I will definitely be visiting again. I love all things arty and creative. :) I would love to learn about your veggie meals. Sounds great. Last night I made a pasta with just veggies and it was so good. It was all garlic-y.

Sara,
Check out my latest post and enjoy my friend. :)

Diane,
I hope your kids like them.

Wes,
Yeah, me too Wes, I'm gonna go and eat the last ones. LOL.

Jacqueline,
Yeah, they are a not too sweet healthier option. We had the last ones this morning. :-)
