Food Spotlight: Review - Niederegger Marzipan

Disclosure: A sample was sent for my review. All views are my own.

It's getting around to that time of the year again...the holiday season. My mind conjures up visions of getting together with loved ones and also I think of all of the yummy treats that are around. I love it when I find out about some delicious treat that is new to me.

Recently I've had the opportunity to try some delicious sweet treats by Niederegger. They were beautifully packaged and they're definitely getting me into the holiday season already. The packaging is lovely, but the taste is even better! The taste just epitomizes all things festive, but they can be fantastic to enjoy at any time of the year.

Niederegger is a world famous marzipan brand which makes luxury marzipan in their factory in Germany. Their flavours include bittersweet classic chocolate, orange, apple strudel, caramel brownie, espresso and so much more. These are fantastic and utterly delicious treats! The marzipan is pure enjoyment and Niederegger is a brand of premium quality. Niederegger was founded by the pastry chef Johann Georg Niederegger in 1806. He was responsible for the company’s rise to fame and the worldwide reputation still enjoyed by Niederegger marzipan to this day.

Everything that I've tried so far has been delicious, so it's hard to choose a favourite, but I especially enjoyed the apple strudel flavour. I love apple anything, so this wonderful treat was a sweet revelation for me. I'll be coasting towards Christmas and all through the holiday season and beyond on a delicious tasting journey of discovery into the world of marzipan.

If your mouth is watering now and you'd like to know where to get this luxurious treat, then head on over to Chocolates Direct. They are the home of premium chocolate, candy and confectionery gifts. They are also the official online retailer for Niederegger marzipan. Chocolates Direct is a chocolate lover's paradise!
