Snow Day 2009

As some of you may have heard, we had snow here in the UK yesterday and it was really lovely. I wanted to share some of my photos with all of you. I went out with my hubby to keep him company on his ride to see a client, and as always, I took my camera along. Here’s what it looked like around Wiltshire, from the car and on foot and Trevor got in on the fun too. I hope you enjoy the photos :)

Did Trevor enjoy the snow? Could he move?

We have been hearing so much about your snow, it seems to be big news here in the US (maybe a slow news day?). I hope you are all keeping warm and cozy during your surprise snow storm.

I was very miffed that the snow didn't settle long in my city on the south east coast of Kent. I love the snow.

As I read your post I looked out the window here in beautiful North Carolina, and guess what? It's snowing. Amazing. I knew it was cold. The UK, specifically London, made the US national news yesterday, because of the snow.

Great pics! I read that you all had got a lot of snow. I cannot believe Trevor could make it out in it.

Teeheehee I was tickled pink seeing Trevor in the snow. Hope he didn't get too cold!

There's a winter weather advisory in my area tonight, but it's the folks on the wrong side of the lake that could see up to 18 inches of lake effect snow. Fun!

Hi Dori! I love the pictures. Your right it looks so lovely but not so much fun when you have to get about.
We are not set up for snow here in the south of England, lol!

These photos are lovely. Why does snow look so amazing in photographs but tends to be a pain in real life?

Mike,
Glad you like the photos :)

Anne,
Trevor really loved the snow. He didn't want to come back inside. LOL. Yeah we were astonished that it was on the news everywhere. Brit Boy and I are having a good time though :)

Political Poet,
I hope you finally got some snow that settled in Kent. Wiltshire has been getting loads today :)

Valdese Blogger,
Is your snow gone now? We keep getting a melt and then it snows and piles up again. It's wild :)

Health Nut Wannabee Mom,
Yeah, Trevor is all about the snow. He seems to think that if he stays really still that you can't see him, but we had to break it to him that he is still visible. LOL. Have a great weekend :)

Roz,
Glad you liked the photos. It has been really pretty :)

Lynne,
Trevor is a snow beast of sorts so he has been loving it. LOL.

Wow 18 inches of snow! Now that's alot. Stay warm :)

Cen,
Yep, it is pretty and also a pain in the backside to get around in as you mentioned :) It's definitely wellie weather.

Shae,
Glad you liked our Trevor :)

Leslie,
Thanks for visiting me. I'm glad that you like the photos. I'll tell Trevor he is getting lots of love on here ;-)

Mike,
I agree. It is so pretty and then snow gets to be such a bother :) Have a great weekend!
