Hello July

It's a new month...a new beginning...a fresh start...a time of new opportunities. It's also the second half of 2019 and that always inspires me to take stock for a moment, as I move forward into the second half of each year.

Today is also the first weekday of my vacation from work and I am truly overjoyed about that! I'm grateful to have a job, but we all need a break every once in a while. It's been a tough time at work lately, so I'm long overdue for a break in order to get myself together again. I'm truly grateful for this break.

I hope that whomever is reading this...if anyone is anymore 🙂, that July brings good things into your life. Here's to a fresh now month!

Hello July

I'm a day late, but better late than never....Lol.

** Note to Self (a gentle nudge with love, because I need it right now, but with no self judgement): Get it together Dori ;-)

Anyway, I hope that July is great for you and me. June was tough for me, but I'm believing that much better is ahead. Here's to good times :)

I'm planning to be much more present here on the blog again, because I miss it and I need to get back to the things that make me happy. Life is so short and we must enjoy each day to the fullest. We have to spend more of our time here on Earth doing what we love. I've been reminded of this a lot recently and it's so very true. So watch this space! :)

Happy July

Happy new month and halfway mark of the year to all...time really flies. I can't believe that we're at the midpoint of the year already, but it's here :)

I always like this point in the year because it gives me a chance to look back on the first half of the year and look forward to the remaining six months. If I haven't done a whole lot of what I intended in the first six months, I'll usually take stock and think of how hopefully I can finish the year better. We shall see :)

Happy July!!!!

I can't believe that we're halfway through the year already.

I like July 1st because I've always seen it as a reset button if I need it or a progress milestone in my life. I often will mark the day as one to regroup and recommit to whatever I'm doing. January 1st is the beginning of the year of course and it's the start of a whole new year, but I like July 1st also. Any day of the year can be a new start if we want, this is true. However, I love this midpoint day too as a day of renewal if that's what we want :-)

So I hope that everyone has a wonderful July 1st whether you use it as a new beginning or  if you just like July. Lol.
